Overview:
• Able to work in busy environment where priorities can change at a moment’s notice, ability to multitask, and delegate as necessary.
• Maneuvering forklifts safely.
• Safely stacking and unstacking goods onto shelves or pallets.
• Ensure orders are accurately fulfilled, prepared, and shipped on schedule
• Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas.
• Reviewing shuttle list that is filled out by Line Leads and Supervisors.
• Picking orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring damaged cases are accounted for and the required paperwork is completed.
• Maintaining a clean and organized Warehouse.
• Monitor the performance of warehouse staff and provide guidance to meet productivity targets.
• Ensure FIFO is being followed.
• Coordinate with scheduler to ensure stock availability and manage reorder levels.
• Plan and schedule staff shifts and task assignments to optimize labor efficiency.
• Conduct performance reviews and address employee performance issues when needed.
• Responsible for ensuring warehouse team is accurately utilizing WMS,
• Collaborate with other departments to align warehouse operations and business objectives.
• Work OT and weekends when necessary.
Skills and Experience:
• Sit-down and Stand-up forklift experience.
• Ability to use Standup Walkie Rider.
• 2+ years in a warehouse setting, picking experience a plus.
• Computer literate (Excel and Word), MRP systems a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, or overtime
• Excellent interactive and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Familiar with GMP’s, SQF, USDA or FDA and Safety Standards.
• Able to communicate with other team members and Manager.
• Ability to efficiently work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in ERP and WMS systems.
