Position: LPN - Home Healthcare Agency

Department: Nursing

Reports to: Director of Nursing

Facility type: Home Health

Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to provide high quality nursing care in accordance with nursing practice standards and home healthcare regulations.

Essential Job Functions Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Conduct the daily nursing functions in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern a home healthcare agency.
  2. Complete paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
  3. Participate in weekly case conference and meeting as needed and required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions. Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, patients and family members. Must be able to work with ill, disabled and the elderly. Must be able to speak, write and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication.

Education and Experience

No prior home healthcare experience required. We are willing to teach but applicant must be willing to learn and follow direction.

Licensing/Certifications

Must possess a current and active license to practice as an LPN in the state of Florida.
