Sr. Financial Analyst- International Accounting

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the International Accounting Manager with the corporate finance oversight across our international businesses.
  • Assist with the assessment of internal controls, provide accounting support for non-routine transactions and support the international businesses with the application of U.S. GAAP and corporate financial policies.
  • Prepare the monthly and quarterly CTA analysis and assist with the functional currency determination and documentation for international legal entities.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries for certain international legal entities and assist with foreign currency adjustments as needed during month-end close.
  • Support the International Accounting Manager and international business finance teams with accounting for non-routine transactions (e.g. divestitures, liquidations, acquisitions, intercompany restructurings, etc.). Responsibilities include preparing and assisting international businesses with the necessary journal entries for non-routine transactions.
  • Participate in balance sheet reviews for international locations to ensure compliance with financial policies and U.S. GAAP.
  • Perform accounting reviews of local statutory to U.S. GAAP entries and adjustments under the Global Reconciliation Tool (GRT) for selected international locations.
  • Ability to work directly with external and internal auditors on U.S. GAAP accounting matters for certain international locations.
  • Assist in the preparation of footnote disclosures for transactions involving international locations to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules for quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Participate in the IFRS conversion process for certain legal entities.
  • Provide support for various accounting projects and other team assignments.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. Master's degree in accounting preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of Accounting experience
  • 2+ to 5 years experience
  • 2-4 years of public accounting experience preferred.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and BPC preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong emphasis in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
