We are currently hiring 1 full time Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our team in Sleepy Eye, MN!   

New Retention Incentives- $4K Sign On bonus, Full employee benefits package or INCREASED PAY, and Education Reimbursement)

Shift Differentials:  $3.00 more per hour for PM/Midnight Shift

***The Shift hours is 10:30p-6:30a.

We accept both Certified Nursing Assistants.  We will assist those who are looking to become certified!

Core Responsibilities: 

  • 1. Home Health Functions
    • Assists residents with personal care activities, including but not limited to:
     Bathing – full or partial;
     Shampoo/hair care;
     Skin care/nail care, including foot soaks;
     Oral hygiene/denture care;
     Shaving;
     Dressing.

    2. Documentation
    • Accurate documentation of cares given and pertinent observations.

    3. Personnel Functions
    • Attend designated home health meetings as scheduled.
    • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with inter-departmental personnel.
    • Attends educational offerings and obtains at least 12 hours of continuing education a year per regulation.

    4. Committee Functions
    • Serve on, participate in and attend various committees and meetings of the facility to enhance interdisciplinary process.

    5. Medication Administration Procedure
    • A Home Health Aide may administer medications, whether oral, suppository, eye drops, ear drops, inhalant, topical or administered through a gastrostomy tube 

    6. Other duties listed on the Home Heath Aide position.   


Job Requirements


1. Have successfully completed a 75-hour training course and competency evaluation; or
2. Have successfully completed a competency evaluation approved by the Commissioner; or
3. Have successfully completed training in another jurisdiction equivalent to that required in 1 (a); or
4. Have successfully completed a training program or competency evaluation program which satisfies the requirements of Medicare for Home Health Aides as provided by the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42, Section 484.36.
5. Have satisfied the following requirements:
a. Meet the requirements of Title XVIII of the Social Security Act for Nursing Assistants in nursing facilities certified for participation in the Medicare program or have successfully completed a Nursing Assistant training program approved by the State of Minnesota; and
b. Have had a least twenty (20) hours of supervised training or experience performing Home Health Aide tasks in a home setting under the supervision of a RN or complete the supervised practical training or experience within one-month after beginning work performing Home Health Aide tasks; or
6. Prior to June 1, 1993, had completed an approved Home Health Aide training program.
7. Be eighteen (18) years of age.
8. Have demonstrated sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick.
9. Process the ability to read, write and carry out directions.
10. Possess the maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
11. Have demonstrated the ability to work with little supervision and make appropriate judgment.
12. Have demonstrated dependability, tact, and ability to follow orders.
15. Experience in an Assisted Living Facility or Memory Care Unit strongly preferred.
16. Ability to prioritize duties.
17. Customer service oriented.
18. Ability to understand and follow work assignments.
19. Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.
20. Must be a team player.
