Summary of Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager of Ministry Development is critical in the identification, development, and implementation of the national ministry’s strategic goals.  This position will advise and provide continuous feedback to senior management and church leadership with regard to department priorities and operations. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Staff the Church Governing Board
  • Manage the Key Operations of the National Ministry
  • Advise Affiliate Ministries
  • Lead additional projects and initiatives as assigned

 

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Formal theological degree preferred
  • A bachelor’s degree is required
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work independently, possess strong analytical problem-solving abilities, and exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Must be proactive, resourceful and able to anticipate actions to be taken
  • Must have the ability to assign structure, goals and objectives to short-term and long-term projects
  • Must possess the intellectual versatility to successfully manage a large volume of varied assignments
  • Must understand organizational culture and work to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong computer skills, including an excellent understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work flexible hours and to travel is required
