KOMO Machine Operator



SUPA Door in Universal City, Texas has an immediate need for a KOMO Machine Operator in the CSD Parts department on 2nd shift.

This individual will ensure quality products are produced at the KOMO by being detailed oriented and understanding machine operations including inspecting and validating exact dimensions from the BOM and drawings as required.  Individual must be quality driven and self-confident to stop production if needed. This person must care about quality and will be required to know various details of each part of door production and assembly.  The responsibilities include:

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of computerized machines required
  • Knowledge of machining preps is required
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience or specific product knowledge is required
  • Must have a good eye for quality and be self-confident with pride in workmanship
  • Able to lift over 50 pounds
  • Able to read a measuring tape
  • Able to use simple math
  • Able to use fractions and decimals
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must observe all safety policies and procedures
  • Legible handwriting is needed
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
  • Dependable attendance
  • Able to take direction and work with a variety of people
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Able to work 8 to 10 hours a day, 5 to 6 days a week as required

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Able to legally work in the U.S. according to the Immigration and Naturalization Services
