Summary Description:


Westmoreland Coal is looking for a Junior ERP Support Analyst that will be responsible for the day to day troubleshooting and support for JD Edwards (JDE) throughout the company. The Support Analyst will be the first point of contact for the JDE end-users, providing problem identification, resolution and on-the-spot training to prevent problem reoccurance and knowledge transfer. The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual that has business and/or technical proficiency across one or more business areas/modules (GL, FA, AP/AR, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Maintenance, Operations). They will also require strong written and verbal communication skills, and a positive, service oriented attitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:           

  • Collaborate with end users across the company to support the day to day activities supporting JD Edwards, including business process best practices
  • Troubleshoot client issues across multiple modules in JD Edwards
  • Troubleshoot client issues in Reporting Tools tied to JDE (DAS, Business Objects, Excel)
  • Escalate client issues to appropriate support if needed (e.g., technical experts or process experts)
  • Track work activities and document solutions in our Global Ticketing System (iSupport)
  • Update and maintain Help Documentation for JDE in Oracle UPK

Job Requirements


Demonstrates Technical proficiency in the following areas:

  • ERP or Business Systems experience
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Database experience 
  • Demonstrates experience and proficiency in the following soft skills:

  • Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
  • 2 years of business and/or ERP experience (JD Edwards a plus)
