Summary Description:

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for treasury related analysis, including cash management and forecasting, as well as supporting the Treasury Manager with other treasury functions 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly cash management, forecasting and reporting
  2. Responsible for monthly journal entries related to cash transactions and bank reconciliations
  3. Initiate funds transfers through internal (funding internal accounts) and wire transactions
  4. Analyze subsidiary financing requirements and work closely with subsidiaries, treasury operations and tax to ensure proper funding of cash flow needs as well as to devise low cost methods of cash repatriation, whenever possible
  5. Work with the FP&A team to update and maintain operations liquidity schedule to ensure accuracy so management has the most up to date information to make future decisions
  6. Recommends borrowing/pay down decisions at a minimum cost to the company
  7. Support the Treasury Manager in bank related reporting activities
  8. Oversee the assignment and ongoing maintenance of employee access in the global banking systems
  9. Respond to audit inquires in a timely manner for internal and external audit teams
  10. Assist in evaluating compliance with the company’s treasury policies and internal control framework
  11. Ensure cash/interest/borrowing activities are provided timely to the accounting team for recording into the General Ledger
  12. Responsible for administering corporate risk management and insurance broker relationship
  13. Coordinate annual insurance renewal process, including information requests and documents from subsidiaries
  14. Ability to work as part of a team and independently, managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  2. 3 or more years of relevant experience
  3. Cash Flow Forecasting
  4. Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
  5. Knowledge of JD Edwards preferred
  6. Possess strong analytical and communication skills
  7. Experience with foreign currency transactions is a plus
