Job Description

Position Summary

Under general supervision, support the enterprise SharePoint Online/O365 environment to meet business collaboration needs for content management, process automation, and data reporting. Develop relationships with internal customers to identify business requirements, review functional requirements against out-of-the-box tools, identify contingencies on global configurations ( term store, content types, search configuration), and propose solutions (sites, libraries, lists, workflows, etc) to meet initiatives. This role will assist with administering, supporting, and configuring the SharePoint Online environment, which include, site collections, sites, sub-sites, team sites, extranets, document centers, etc.


Supervisor Responsibilities

This position does not have formal supervisory responsibilities over other employees.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Office 365 SharePoint site collection administration (managing, monitoring, creating, sharing configuration, quotas, etc.). 
  • Design, configure, test, implement, enhance, and support SharePoint sites to meet internal needs (process flow, content structure, information architecture, permissions). 
  • Meet with internal customers to gather business requirements and promote/implement SharePoint sites that best support company initiatives. 
  • Provide SharePoint Online support to end users, to include Project Online, TEAMS sites, and other O365 Collaboration tools. 
  • Support workflow management and development, along with Flow application. 
  • Deploy and monitor third-party SharePoint Online solution packages. Document custom site configuration and global SharePoint Online configuration/design. 
  • Maintain current industry knowledge of development concepts, best practices and procedures to guide Governance documentation. 
  • Create, plan and execute training sessions with internal staff and content owners. 
  • Maintain and administer SharePoint services including enterprise search.
  •  Perform related work as required.

Job Requirements

Typical Physical Demands

Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires constant data input for extended periods of time without leaving the work area. Occasionally lifting files or paper weighing up to 30 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Requires mobility sufficient to travel.

Typical Working Conditions

Normal office environment. Occasional evening or weekend work.


Education and Experience

  • Bacheslor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology.
  • Minimum 1 years of related work experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
