Job Description

Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company that specializes in the Flooring Industry, is recruiting a Business Development Manager for Touch of Color Flooring. They are seeking a candidate that can create new prospects and clients, provide exceptional customer service, while building new relationships with organizations to continue the growth of the company. As a Business Development Manager will be responsible for maintaining great relationships with our current and past customer base.   You will responsible for executing sales strategy, initiating contact with existing and potential customers, identifying and qualifying customer needs, presenting and selling appropriate products and solutions to meet their needs.This person will be responsibly for the Philadelphia Market.

  • Monthly commission
  • $300/ month auto allowance
  • Company cell phone


  • Design an action plan to successfully create new business and build client relationships
  • Responsible for achieving company sales targets and update management the status of accounts
  • Responsible for on-going prospecting and warm-calling potential clients within targeted areas
  • Represent the company well with customers, future clients and the building industry
  • Prepare accurate quotes
  • Project management
  • Measure projects and complete scaled diagrams
  • Attend all available industry functions to establish connections and further relationships.


  • 5+ years previous experience working in an outside sales role
  • 3+ years’ experience in the flooring industry is preferred
  • Must have a good knowledge of residential and commercial construction
  • Excellent computer skills, including internet knowledge and working proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and database applications
  • Proven, successful sales track record
  • Ability to meet deadlines and understand priorities
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Proven ability in creating new business and client relationships is a must
  • Must be able to pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license
