Wylander Solutions is recruiting a Network Engineer for Integrated Precision Systems, located in Twinsburg, OH.  Since 1988, they have been partnering with companies and agencies to secure their most valuable assets. For over 20 years, they have been integrating video, access control, fire and communication systems to meet the specialized needs of each individual client. They are searching for a creative, flexible and innovative team player. The Network Engineer will be responsible for maintain the integrity, reliability, and performance of the existing network for clients as well as developing new designs to support the future growth of the client’s network; responsible for the configuration, operation, and administration of the client’s network server hardware, operating systems, and communications links,

  • Base salary: $50,000-$55,000
  • Company to provide vehicle, laptop and cell phone


  • Assists users to achieve optimum use of their computer networks by performing needs analysis, procurement support, installation, and problem resolution for the local and wide area networks
  • Defines and implements solutions to integrate desktop and shared devices into local and wide area networks and/or other host-based networks.
  • Analyze users’ needs; Recommends appropriate network configuration, computer tools to users, including equipment software, documentation, and training
  • Acts as software support, providing technical assistance to end-users; responds to user requests for service and determines nature and extent of support required; provides support of refers to appropriate staff member
  • Installs, configures, maintains and troubleshoots a wide range of software; performs hardware/software upgrades to existing computer equipment as needed
  • Implements and maintains bridges, routers, gateways, remote access servers, domain servers, security firewalls, application and device servers and Internet or Intranet devices and connections
  • Maintains up-to-date expertise in the operation and application of standard microcomputer software and a working knowledge of a variety of commonly used hardware and software
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
  • Ability to take after hour calls to assist clients with high priority needs


  • 5+ years’ experience within a network engineer role
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA and COMPTIA A+ are a plus
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow as well as handle multiple projects at one time, meeting all assigned deadlines
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
