Job Description

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, verify, and process invoices and payment requests

  • Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts to ensure accuracy

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

  • Prepare and process check runs, ACH, and wire transfers

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and records

  • Assist with month-end closing and reporting

  • Communicate with internal departments and vendors regarding payment inquiries

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

  • Hours 8a-5p M-F

Skills and Experience:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred

  • 1–2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience (healthcare experience a plus)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with accounting/ERP systems preferred

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
