Regular Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
Pay: $17 p/h, starting pay can increase depending on experience
Work Hours:
- 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday
- 7:30am - 2:00pm, Friday
Breaks
- 10:00am - 10:15am
- 2:30pm - 2:45pm each day (except Fri. afternoons)
- Lunch, 12:00pm - 12:30pm

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Individuals working in the Assembly department should be proficient with using many different types of power tools (both electrical and air powered.) This person should also have his/her own hand tools to work with. The candidate should have some experience doing work related to carpentry tasks, such as trim work, using a tape measure proficiently and being familiar with drill bits. Previous experience in mechanical assembly, metal cutting, drilling, or mounting is helpful. The candidate will use different types of tools and perform a variety of tasks to accomplish the exterior assembly of emergency vehicles (installing doors, lights, etc.). The company will furnish the electrical and air powered tools.

The following is a minimum tools list that the candidate will NEED to have before starting work in the Assembly Department:
- Standard wrenches 3/8' to 4'
- Standard screw drives both flat-head and phillips-head #6-#8
- Standard socket set 1⁄4' drive
- Standard socket set 3/8' drive
- Channel locks
- Side cutters
- Tape measure
- Needle nose pliers
The following is an example of different types of tools the candidate should be familiar with:
- Compound miter saw
- Band saws
- Radial arm saws
- Drill press
- Table grinder
- Jig saws
- Routers
- Die grinders
- D/A sanders
- Cut-off tools
- Hand drills and drivers
Work Experience
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be dependable and be able to work occasional overtime as required. Previous work in an automotive manufacturing environment is a plus. High School Diploma/GED preferred. Must be able to read and write and be able to understand written instructions. Must have a good attitude and strong work ethic with good attendance and stable work history. Must be able to work occasional overtime as required.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Typical automotive manufacturing shop environment (hot/cold/dusty).
PHYSICAL: This position involves manual labor using assigned tools. This position requires the individual to reach, stand, kneel, bend, stoop and twist to accomplish the assembly of emergency vehicles. Interior Electricians will be required to work in the ambulance interior (i.e., tight spaces). Individuals will perform a variety of tasks and will be in various 'positions' throughout the workday.
