We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Automotive HVAC Technician to join our team! This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of aftermarket automotive air conditioning systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Install aftermarket air conditioning systems in a variety of vehicles.
• Recondition HVAC components and prepare systems by pulling vacuums and charging with refrigerants.
• Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical system issues.
• Wire and test HVAC systems to ensure full functionality and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience with automotive HVAC systems is required; aftermarket and medium-duty truck experience is preferred.
• Must be familiar with R-12, R-134A, and R-22 refrigerant systems.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; must be able to read and write.
• ASE Certification (T7) is a plus.
• Must be able to follow instructions, multitask, and work efficiently under deadlines.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dependable work history are essential.

Required Tools – Must Be in Your Possession Prior to Start:

Technicians must provide their own tools, including:

• Standard wrenches (3/8” to ¾”)
• Flat-head and Phillips-head screwdrivers (#6–#8)
• ¼” drive standard socket set
• 3/8” drive standard socket set
• Needle nose pliers
• Channel locks
• Side cutters
• Tape measure

Working Conditions:

Typical automotive shop environment, which may be hot, cold, or dusty depending on the season.

This is a physically active role requiring standing, kneeling, bending, twisting, and lying on a creeper.

Tasks require frequent movement and use of hand tools to complete installations and repairs.
