Working with wood to build and repair structures


Carpentry: 1 year


Requires calculating quotes, meeting with clients and creating design plans for remodeling projects.



Work Experience
  • Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic and electric tools
  • Safety conscious a must, OSHA certification a plus
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines a must
  • Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions
  • Good communication skills and basic knowledge of technology
  • Ability to listen and follow instructions
  • Spanish Speaking a plus
  • Repair and complete frame and cornice items as needed
  • Site cleanup as needed
  • Truss experience, heavy machine operator a plus

Requirements/Physical Requirements:


  • Work authorization (Required)
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Climbing and balancing up and down ladders, scaffolds and similar devices using feet, legs, hands, and arms to perform tasks such as inspection of job site.
  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Lifting and carrying material and objects.
  • Walking/balancing and moving about on foot to perform tasks where there are rough terrain and/or impediments such as sand, mud, or ice. to all forms of weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, dry, humid, windy) for part or the entire workday.
  • Position will require bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, pushing/pulling, twisting, standing, and walking
