Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. This role requires strong knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, and heavy-duty vehicle components.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrains

  • Inspect and repair air brake, suspension, and hydraulic systems

  • Perform DOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (12V/24V) and HVAC units

  • Complete preventative maintenance including oil changes, tires, and alignments

  • Maintain accurate repair and inspection records

Skills and Experience:

1+ years diesel mechanic experience (bus, truck, or heavy equipment preferred)

Knowledge of DOT safety standards

Experience with diagnostics tools and repair procedures

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a shop environment

Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
