Job Summary:

Onin Staffing is actively hiring an experienced and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. If you have a strong mechanical background and a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!



Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related systems
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify problems
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
