Job Title: Electrical Assembly Technician

Work Experience
Required Qualifications:
- Have at least 3-5 years of experience working as an electrical technician or panel builder and have experience with electronic device application and assembly.
- Have 2-4 years of experience with HMI wiring and experience with component application and assembly, including switches, terminal blocks, transformers, motor drives, and overcurrent protective drives.
- Possess basic knowledge of communication networks such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and EtherCAT, as well as basic knowledge of VFDs, servomotors, and motion control.
- Be skilled in power, control, and safety circuit design while adhering to industrial standards such as UL508A, CE, and CSA.
- Have experience with control panel layouts, schematic drawings (electrical and fluid power), and bills of materials.
- Possess technical training, trade school education, or other relevant programs.
Essential Talents:
- Working familiarity with the UL508A standard.
- Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
- Inspect or test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or operation and record results.
- Layout and assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures, and mount electrical components, units, subassemblies, wiring, fasteners, and soldering.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
- Position, align, or adjust workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
- Confer with supervisors or engineers to plan or review work activities or resolve production problems.
