Job Type: Full-Time | Hourly | 8-Hour Shifts

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Mechanic / Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This role involves performing electrical, mechanical, and electronic repairs, installations, and troubleshooting on production equipment and facility machinery. Ideal candidates will have strong problem-solving skills and a background in both mechanical and electrical systems.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production machinery
  • Install and modify equipment and electrical circuits
  • Use meters and tools to test circuits and diagnose problems
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area, following OSHA and company standards
  • Perform preventive maintenance and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate equipment concerns
  • Support equipment moves, setups, and modifications


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree or technical training preferred
  • 1–5 years of experience in a related mechanical/electrical role
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, tools, and safety procedures
  • Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and technical documents
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus


Skills Needed:

  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Use of hand and power tools
  • Inventory and parts identification
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Ability to work in loud, physically demanding environments


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Standing, walking, kneeling, climbing as needed
  • Good vision (color, depth, peripheral)


Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced manufacturing facility
  • Exposure to loud noise, moving parts, and varying temperatures
