Overview:
As a Material Handler Technician I, you will facilitate the flow of all materials throughout warehouse and production areas. Supply the production areas with all necessary ingredients and components. Prepare Job kits by staging and issuing all appropriate materials physically and electronically in the appropriate areas. Physically and electronically locate all unused material from production areas to warehouse storage. Perform cycle counts and warehouse bin audits as directed. Keep the warehouse, and production staging areas clean and organized. Observe and implement warehouse safety practices. Cross-train, and assist in other departments as needed. Report to the Material Handling Supervisor, and Material Handling Tech III’s.
Position Responsibilities:
- Supply production areas with all necessary materials.
- Return materials from production areas to warehouse storage.
- Electronically and physically locate, and move, all materials as needed.
- Electronically issue and de-issue materials to production jobs.
- Perform cycle counts and warehouse bin audits as directed
- Keep all production and warehouse staging areas clean and organized.
- Follow Warehouse Safety measures and ensure that others do the same.
- Cross-train as needed.
- Take work direction from Material Handler Tech III, and Material Handling Supervisor.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by Supervisor.
Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Math proficiency.

- Ability to lift 75 lbs. and move 500 lb. drum dolly on a regular basis.
