Job Title: Cheese Packager

📍 Location: Faribault, MN

💲 Pay Rate: $20.44 per hour

🕒 Shift: Monday – Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM (Enjoy 3-day weekends!)

💼 Employment Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

Onin Staffing is hiring motivated and detail-oriented individuals to work as Cheese Packagers for a reputable food manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity to build long-term skills in a clean, well-organized production environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Package cheese products into bags or boxes following standard procedures
  • Ensure weights, labels, and packaging quality meet company specifications
  • Operate and monitor packaging equipment such as sealers, printers, and scales
  • Complete required paperwork and follow all safety and GMP guidelines
  • Report defective or sub-standard products and assist with corrective action
  • Maintain clean work areas and perform sanitation tasks as scheduled
  • Support other production departments when needed


Work Experience

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • Basic math skills to calculate weights and production counts
  • Comfortable standing, lifting, and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in food production or packaging is a plus
  • Flexibility to work overtime if needed



Physical Requirements

  • Stand, walk, bend, and reach for long periods
  • Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently
  • Work in varying temperatures and around moving equipment
  • Ability to hear, speak clearly, and follow safety directions in a loud environment
