We’re looking for hands-on, mechanically inclined individuals to operate production lines in our blown film department—including Drawtape Machines, which convert plastic sheeting into kitchen trash bags. These machines require constant monitoring and adjustments—not just start-and-stop operation—so prior machine experience is highly valued.

• Safely operate multiple production lines assigned in the department
• Work on Drawtape Machines and other extrusion lines to maintain production flow
• Make mechanical adjustments during runs to maintain product quality
• Record daily output, scrap, and downtime; follow all quality check procedures
• Perform line changeovers, assist with troubleshooting, and complete minor repairs
• Conduct equipment staging and preventative maintenance
• Enter production and resin data into computer systems
• Maintain a clean and safe work area (including Lock Out/Tag Out)
• Assist other lines as needed and support new operator training
• Work in a physical environment: lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, bending, and standing for 12-hour shifts

Skills Needed

• Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills
• Comfortable adjusting machine settings during production runs
• Knowledge of or experience with Drawtape, CNC, or complex production machinery
• Ability to read work orders and follow written instructions in English
• Solid communication, safety awareness, and computer proficiency
