In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining quality standards by inspecting processes, validating procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Work Experience
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process inspections by roaming the production floor.
- Perform visual checks on products throughout the manufacturing cycle.
- Carry out incoming, in-process, and final audits to maintain quality control.
- Inspect raw materials and finished parts for compliance, including plated, anodized, heat-treated, and painted components.
- Generate, distribute, and maintain inspection reports.
- Identify and document non-conforming products, tagging items accordingly.
- Maintain thorough documentation as required by customers and internal processes.
- Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and pin gauges.
- Assist in audits and system improvements to drive manufacturing excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in quality inspection.
- Background in metal stamping and fabrication (Laser cutting, forming, welding, and assembly processes).
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 (IATF 16949 experience is a plus).
- Strong math skills and the ability to interpret blueprints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
