Semi-Automatic Submerged Arc Welder – 2nd Shift

Onin Staffing is seeking skilled Semi-Automatic Submerged Arc Welders to join our team on the second shift. If you have experience operating semi-automatic welding equipment and are looking for a steady schedule with great benefits, we want to hear from you!


Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: 2nd Shift – (54 hours per week)

  • Monday to Thursday: 4:45 PM – 3:15 AM
  • Friday: 2:30 PM – 11:15 PM
  • Saturday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM


Work Experience

Responsibilities:

  • Operate semi-automatic submerged arc welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal components
  • Interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding procedures
  • Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a clean, safe condition

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with submerged arc welding preferred
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to work overtime as needed (including Saturdays)
  • Must be reliable and safety-focused
