Overview:

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $15.00/hr
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a ride-on forklift, a strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes, and excellent math and organizational skills. This role plays an important part in ensuring that materials and products are accurately received, stored, and shipped in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a ride-on forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.

  • Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, and inspect items for damage or accuracy.

  • Prepare and package outgoing orders for shipment.

  • Accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation, labels, and records.

  • Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and storage areas.

  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production and delivery goals.

  • Perform routine checks on equipment and report maintenance needs.

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse environment.

  • Ride-on forklift experience required; certification preferred.

  • Strong math skills with the ability to accurately measure, count, and calculate.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

This position involves working in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures. Proper safety equipment and training will be provided.
