Overview:
- Fabricates wood parts for assembled products by using woodworking machines.
- Suggests changes in procedures, standards, to facilitate work and maintain quality.
- Read and comprehend work orders, written and verbal instruction and blueprints; identify part numbers.
- Preform checks to ensure equipment is in safe and working order; report discrepancies to department leadership.
- Uses gauges and other devices to verify conformity to stands of product being fabricated.
- Maintains good housekeeping in the workstation by following 5S standards and procedures.
- Complies with all safety and environmental requirements and reports all discrepancies to management.
- Regular and reliable attendance at job site is required
- Performs other duties as assigned.

● Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control,
costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
● Basic language skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence,
and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one
and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
● Basic mathematical skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using
whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent, and to draw
and interpret bar graphs.
● Basic reasoning ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but
uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in
standardized situations.
