Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Bed Search Administrative Clerk in the Crisis program at Behavioral Health Network! Bed Search Administrative Clerks secure treatment beds for youth and adults experiencing a mental health crisis.  Bed Search Administrative Clerks are critical members of a well-run office environment!  Bed Search Administrative Clerks work among BHN staff, and the general public, using their organizational skills and their ability to prioritize  work with medical records efficiently and under minimal supervision. Finally, Bed Search Administrative Clerks are competent in preparing documents, updating records, facilitating follow up phone calls & other various office functions based on the needs of the Crisis program.

BHN’s Crisis Program provides 24/7 front line response to individuals of all ages who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis, regardless of insurance. BHN provides services on a mobile basis, including home and community-based settings or in an emergency department when needed. Behavioral Health Network is a growing non-profit community behavioral health agency that has been providing services to children, adults, families and communities in Western Massachusetts since 1938.  BHN provides comprehensive, outcome-driven behavioral health care. Job Requirements

Administrative Clerks at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

  • Minimum of 6 months office experience (required), in a healthcare setting (preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Prior customer service experience(required).
  • Good computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, internet, and word processing and email systems (required). 
  • Reliable transportation during each shift to provide community based services (required).
