Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Program Assistant in BHN’s Integrated Health program at Behavioral Health Network!  Program Assistants provide administrative assistance and support for supervisors and management as needed. In this role, individuals will be responsible for providing program support through administrative task such as: responding and extending communications, assisting with data reporting, attending scheduled meetings, assisting in troubleshooting and problem solving, and assisting with special projects as needed.  Candidates need to be punctual, dependable, proactive, organized and professional. Candidates also need to be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.  Program Assistants learn the many facets of the program while acting as a vital part of the team, having the opportunity to work with and learn from a variety of people in various positions.

BHN’s Integration program is an innovative model of care, working directly with primary care and pediatric providers to address the whole health needs of the families and individuals in our culturally diverse community.  Our staff includes psychologists, social workers, counselors, recovery coaches and care coordinators. The Integrated Care program is person-centered, evidence-based, and focused on collaborative goal setting to address unmet medical, behavioral, mental and social needs.

Job Requirements

The Program Assistant at Behavioral Health Network has the following qualities:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least six months working in an administrative office setting.
  • Proficient knowledge of how to conduct job related internet searches, Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook and other company related software.
  • Ability to multi task, be proactive, and self-motivating.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to remain calm in high demand or stressful situations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
